What Is Consignment?
Consignment means entrusting your coin to an auction house to sell on your behalf. The hammer price, less a commission, is returned to you. You gain access to a worldwide pool of motivated collectors without the effort of finding a buyer yourself.
Getting Started — Initial Enquiry
Use our enquiry form or the dedicated consignment page to send your initial submission. Include photographs (obverse, reverse, edge) and whatever information you have — coin name, date, slab status. Identity verification (KYC) is not required at this stage.
A collection specialist will contact you within 3 business days.
Every great collection eventually finds a new home.
We are here to make that transition worthy of the coins.
The Appraisal Process
After the initial enquiry, we move to physical appraisal. You can ship the coin to our Fukuoka office or arrange an in-person appraisal in Tokyo or Fukuoka. A specialist evaluates condition, rarity, and market appeal and presents an estimate range.
Appraisal is free (outbound shipping is at your cost). Based on the appraisal, we propose an estimate and reserve price for your review. The estimate is a market reference, not a price guarantee.
Consignment Agreement & Fees
Once you accept the appraisal, we issue a consignment agreement. The contract specifies the auction slot, lot number, estimate, reserve price, and commission rate. Electronic signatures are fully supported for remote consignors.

From Lot Production to Live
Once the agreement is signed, we photograph the coin in our studio using 8K cinema cameras — front, back, edge, and full-rotation video. Lot descriptions are written in both Japanese and English by our collection specialists.
The catalog is published 2–3 weeks before the auction, opening the pre-bid period. You can track progress in real time via the consignor portal and watch the live broadcast on auction day.
Hammer & Settlement
When your lot is sold, you receive a confirmation promptly. Once the buyer's payment clears (typically within 10–14 business days), we transfer the hammer price less commission to your account. A settlement statement is available in the consignor portal.
